The entrepreneur's endless donations to the Bethesda Project during its Annual Gala are one of the most memorable and lasting expressions of his charitable spirit. He has never stopped financially supporting the organisation, despite the fact that it was founded almost a decade ago.

Ray Mirra has made numerous donations to philanthropic organisations like St Norbert's School, the Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiency, the Children's Cancer and Blood Foundation, and the renowned Ligouri Academy. The company was located on Genesee Street near Mohawk Street in what is now known as Old First Ward. This area was also known as “Mill Creek Valley” because it was home to many mills along Mill Creek (now Ellicott Creek).

His generosity was repaid by others who kept the secret of his good work from him so that they could continue receiving his blessings over the years. It’s possible that this is why Ray never made very much money for himself—he spent it all on helping others!
